About Michelle: “I have been a group facilitator in various capacities for the last 30 years; in schools, after school mental Health programs, Group homes, offering trainings on job sites and in my private therapy and transformational coaching practices. My current work focuses on trauma-informed coaching, Consulting and training, and helping to create the next generation of trauma-informed leaders. My passions are psychology, trauma-informed care, spirituality, storytelling, performance, communication, embodiment, improvisation and play and supporting our youth. My work supports building a bridge between the power of the mind and the wisdom of the body. I believe the mind is a powerful tool to support us and implementing wisdom that our body collects and shares with us when we take the time to listen. Our world has become so disconnected from our bodies and feelings and learning to not only manage, but to lean into discomfort, is a necessary skill for navigating our world. Learning to stay present, in our bodies, feeling what we feel, creates a dance between the mind and the body The fosters awareness, insight, regulation, self-compassion and authentic expression”
